Arriving from Taiwan rather than China could be a good sign that it's made of higher quality metal. I also considered the Parker ct-5 mini chain tool but aside from the price this one was easier to use and also has a chain clip and pen storage. However, unlike the Parker CT-5, you can't change the instrument's output, so hopefully that's not a problem. Also, the grip unscrews easily, but a little Loctite will fix that if needed. If I ever need to use this on a trip I'll be sure to upgrade if it keeps me going or fails when I need to change a chain but it should get the job done.
