Great for '03 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT 2WD. Has a grease fitting which is great. The hardest part was removing the knuckle from the old ball joint (use a 5lb sledgehammer and hit the knuckle to "shock/shake" the old one). Pickle forks were useless. I used the Astro 7897 kit to remove the old one and install this one, but I had to make the following mod to get the old ball joint out. The 03 DR 1500 has almost no clearance at the bottom ball joint stud, so you can't install the shell without it rising on the rim of the stud. So I used a Dremel cutting tool to cut off some 1/2" lengths from the old ball joint lip to make room for the receiver cup and it worked fine. I have used a 6736 OTC clamp and 6730 OTC clamp adapter, but I suspect the 7897 Astro clamp will work fine. Also, you should not buy a Dodge/Jeep OTC 7894 kit for two reasons. and the Astro 7897 set contains EXACTLY the same parts and a whole lot more.
