Review on 🏌️ PUMA Men's Flexlite Golf Glove - Optimized for Golf Performance by James Womble

Best budget glove I've ever used would be bigger

First of all I'm not a fan of golf gloves - I usually always buy cheaper gloves as I don't play golf that much anymore. I don't think I've ever paid more than $20 for a glove. I've always had a soft spot for the Puma/Cobra brands and have owned a lot of their gear over the years. But I've never owned Puma gloves. This replaced the Callaway Glove, which looked decent at first but crumpled up after a few rounds and fit like a saran bandage. But I had a lot of cheap shoes from big brands like Nike, U/A, Titleist, Footjoy, etc. I had a few that I liked, but many started to tear after just a lap or two. I don't think you will find a better glove. I was attracted to this model because of its attractive looks and a different color scheme than regular black and white gloves. The palm and fingers are made of a pleasantly velvety material and the little finger/ring has a tight-fitting mesh. I measure about 8 inches from heel to mid-toe and the LARGE fits right in. I'm sure there are far more durable gloves on the market and some golfers want their gloves to last a lot longer than I expect - but then again for the price I couldn't find anything better. I had a tournament so I bought this glove and played 3 full rounds and hit about 100 balls a day at the shooting range for 3 weeks and the picture shows how it held up. I can feel the fleshy part getting a little thin under my pinky, but I'm more than happy with how it held up. So I bought one in a different color. Overall, I still see myself in a position to get this glove while it's available.

Pros
  • Pre-curved fit
Cons
  • Poorly designed
