When I first connected the camera it was in poor light. I was immediately impressed by the quality of the camera. Autofocus works well, although I'm not a fan of this feature on any camera in general. My wife was filming live video that evening and the first thing that struck me was the awful microphone. I ran various tests on multiple devices and locations. All the same results. I contacted support and they told me I need to return Revain as it was the first 30 days. I did and they replaced it 2 days later. After some more tests, the second camera had the same problem as in my video. Every time the camera focuses, you can hear a click in the sound. There is also a constant "whining" or white noise in the audio. It's a shame because the price and picture quality are great, but I can say with complete confidence that this is by far the worst mic I've ever used. Conclusion: If you have a separate microphone, you should get one. If you want to use the camera's microphone, look elsewhere. I will be returning the second one I have because while I have a great external mic my wife doesn't have one and I don't want to worry about moving a separate mic around.
