Great for organizing
I love having my batteries laid out where I know what I have. This definitely beats a gallon zip lock grab bag of batteries in the freezer. The tester is also a very handy feature. As far as fireproof, well I haven't tested the theory yet, but have a hard time buying that, luckily I store my batteries in the pantry and not the fireplace. I kinda doubt it's waterproof as well. It's not a pelican box, you could probably hit it with a hose a couple times and it would be fine, but if you submerge it you're probably gonna have wet foam and batteries. Water resistant is probably more accurate. All in all its a good sturdy case and I'm glad I bought it.
