I know it's meant for crushing barley and other grains for beer, but I really needed an affordable oat conditioner for our horses and thought it would do. It does. Except it doesn't compress the oats enough. I can't even get close to the videos in my life. The tightest or finest adjustment hardly crushes them. For now it works satisfactorily until I find a better solution. Can't rate this for curling other grains as I haven't. But it's a neat little handheld "machine" that feels well made.
