FreeTec Digital Timing Advance Problem
I knew it was a cheap timer but I thought it might do a few simple jobs as advertised. I trusted it when I used it, but I shouldn't have. It didn't give me a correct reading and my engine wasn't working properly as a result. I borrowed a different brand of digital sync lamp that gave me the correct reading. What should have been an easy adjustment ended up costing me 3 days of trouble and thankfully not causing any mechanical failures. The function it performs on the engine is very important and they should not sell a product no matter how cheap it is unless there is a problem with that particular unit.
