Absolutely worthless crimper, especially for smaller wires. You're better off with pliers. Seriously. If your wire completely fills the connector, then maybe you can achieve a connection, but it's only because any amount of deformity will make contact between the wire and the connector, not because this tool's crimp is well-designed. And it won't be robust. The ratcheting action, quality, and construction of this tool is fine. The crimping bit is not. At all. Buy at your peril. Oh, it does not damage shrink-wrap connectors, so I guess that's something, but it doesn't crimp them properly either.
