I have a slight intolerance to sterling silver so I'm always happy to find alternative metals, my favorite being stainless steel. But I have a strong intolerance to spending money on jewelry. Having rather small fingers, I have a hard time finding a "cool" ring - something that isn't a basic 4.5/5 ring AND is made out of a material that doesn't itch or make me red AND is inexpensive. cheap. Yes. When I saw it was available in black and in my size I jumped at it. And i love it! I was so thrilled that it was a snug fit (because sizes can be anywhere on these "economy" imports). The ring is slim fitting, comfortable to wear, goes well with my casual style, has just enough flair without being too flashy, doesn't bore me to tears, and was cheaper than 2 tacos on the day of purchase. The finish is mostly matte but not too matte/flat, there is a slight sheen. I noticed that some finishes/sizes were significantly more expensive than I was willing to pay; This ring is very, very light so the price should reflect that fairly. Finally, I have no idea if this is real stainless steel - since it's not body jewelry, I personally don't care. But if you want stamped surgical grade stainless steel, look elsewhere because this isn't it. I haven't had it long enough to know how it will "age" but it's super cute and super cheap so 5 stars for me. Oh, and because the ring has such an open design and a very thin band, no moisture gets underneath. But none of us wash our hands often these days, do we?!
