The still heated kettle will then evaporate all moisture from the kettle. If you leave the lid on the kettle, condensation will form and the kettle will never dry out inside. I know it sounds simple or maybe even stupid. But it was important for me because I didn't like the 2-3 days of moisture in the kettle when I wanted to use it. This little trick works. About 20 minutes after removing the lid, simply close the lid of the kettle. Nice and dry.
