I also have similar collars from BSEEN. I thought they were the same as BSEEN's as they glow the same but I was pleasantly surprised to find that they are of better quality. (BSEEN makes several versions - I mean the ones with a few little dots of light like this one, not the one that emits a solid beam of light around the collar.) I bought the blue one and it puts out a good light. amount of light Not as super bright as pink BSEEN which is VERY bright and glows white like real light. But on par with the red collar BSEEN - good light, but more glow. What makes this collar better than the BSEEN version is that it closes. The end of the hose that you pull out to "open" the collar has a hard plastic cap that actually snaps into the white part of the battery collar. This makes the collar more secure, so you don't have to worry about the collar falling off. BSEEN has no end cap and the hose itself simply slips onto the battery pack. The rubber piece that covers the USB port is also more secure when closed compared to BSEEN. However, it is a bit difficult to install this part via USB so that it closes properly. But once properly closed, it stays closed. The BSEEN collar seems to open with a light touch, which worries me about water getting inside. The BSEEN collar is a few dollars cheaper. I would say that is reflected in the quality. Both work as intended and cost $10 or less, both are great products. I have 1 for each dog and 1 for me for our evening/night walks in the dark. Not only do they glow enough to do their job, but they're actually quite pretty. Like Christmas lights. We get a lot of attention and I enjoy watching her walk. One downside for me personally about this collar compared to BSEEN is that the BSEEN version uses the same USB size as my Kindle. In a world with hundreds of different USB ports (for Kindle, iPhone, iPad, etc.), it's always a good idea to use the same USB port for multiple products. For BSEEN I can use my Kindle USB connector but it doesn't fit so I need to add 1 more cable to my USB collection.
