I purchased this product last week along with a Chemical Guys Foam Blaster ($40) and a Microfiber Glove ($6). You will also need a bucket filled with water and a standard 3/8 inch garden hose connected to the water supply. A pressure flush is NOT required, although I'll test it next time and provide details. I was very pleasantly surprised with the results and how easy it was to wash my car. The whole job took about 25 minutes. I started by gently spraying the hose to remove dirt and debris from my car. Then I installed the Foam Blaster and added some Mr. Pink Shampoo. There is a line on the solution tank that connects to the foam blaster and shows exactly how much shampoo and water to add. The nozzle can be used to spray foam both vertically and horizontally. There are 5 different pressure settings - 0 (low foam), A, B, C, D and E (maximum foam). I started with a B but the lather was barely atomized so I upped it to a D and this is by far my ideal setting which makes a good amount of shampoo for even those with the most severe OCD. About 3 minutes of continuous spraying before the shampoo runs out. That's enough for 2 fairly slow detours of a mid-size sedan and makes sure you get around every nook and cranny, including the wheels and exhaust system. Then I rubbed the shampoo into the paint with a microfiber glove. Finally, I cleaned it with a normal spray hose and dried it with another microfiber cloth. The first thing I noticed was the smell. It smelled phenomenal, like strawberries or chewing gum, and you could smell it in the house. Seriously, this is some kind of strong scent. The shine was great too, although I haven't waxed the car yet. Overall it was a lot of fun and easy at an affordable price. 1 gallon lasts approximately 10-12 washes depending on the amount of shampoo used. All supplies except the garden hose cost around $80. The cheapest car wash near me is at least $10, so you should break even after about 8 washes. Also, you get a free torque gun, better shine, phenomenal smell and fewer scratches on your car. While I'm not sure if this is the best shampoo out there, it's definitely there and a huge leap from your local car wash or Pepboys detergents and most of the products on Revain. I've used quite a bit and nothing is more memorable than Chemical Guys' Mr. Rosa. Chemical Guys also has some other great products (leather cleaners, conditioners, and quick cleansers). Most of my car-loving friends can also attest to the quality of Chemical Guys. You can never go wrong with them. My next project will be trying out the Chemical Guys wax stick and wax lube. I would highly recommend again.
