My hair has never looked better than blow-drying with this powerful and adjustable Elchim professional hair dryer. I've tried many dryers over the years and some of them have been quite expensive, but this is my absolute favorite. I was unlucky and got better hair as it is thin, dry, thin around my face, lifeless and unmanageable. Although it's not dirty, I usually have to wash and blow it with a round brush every day if I want it to have a nice shape and style. This hair dryer allows me to get the perfect temperature and power setting for different areas of my hair. . My hair is fine and thin at the front so I need less heat to avoid damage. And it's good, but it's thick and heavy at the back, so I need more warmth for a better grip. The controls are on the side, except the cold shot is in the middle. I quickly got used to using the side controls, which allow for smooth temperature and power changes. The hair dryer feels good in the hand as it is relatively compact and lightweight, and easy to use thanks to the long (and professional) power cord. My other dryers. I use a longer hub as I think it prevents more damage and works well for me. The kit includes a shorter one as well as a diffuser. I usually blow dry my hair for maximum shape and volume, and the heat and power settings are easy to use to get more hold than usual. I use the cold shot button to set the shape and my ends look a lot healthier and smoother, actually bouncy and full of body. I can even flip up the ends if I leave my hair open to give it a different look and it will stay that way the next day. I get great results in the same or less time. My hair is lifeless except for a little frizz and this Elchim hair dryer straightens it perfectly. Also, I don't have static electricity like some other dryers. Unlike usual, my hair still has its shape on the second day and the tips look fresh and cheeky. This is the best hair dryer I've found, and it's so adjustable and powerful that it should work great on thick, coarse hair (or any hair type). The presentation looks upscale, like the professional hair dryers I bought. This Elchim hair dryer is a valuable gift for anyone who appreciates quality hair tools. BTW, my barber only buys Elchim hair dryers for salon use. Love it. 5 Stars. Made in Italy.
