My problem was solved quickly
There are several branded starters available that look suspiciously similar in terms of packaging, proof sheets and labeling. It installs easily, fits snugly, and solved my non-starting problem at an affordable price. If I last 3-4 years like the last pair I replaced I would consider it a win for the price and ease of installation of this year's Mercury Sable.
