Fits Taurus 2004 and works well

Was skeptical because of the low price but it arrived next day and was an exact replacement. Installed in minutes and works as expected. Looks more powerful than the original starter. Excellent goods.

YES, perfect for 2002 Ford Taurus - Buy

02 Taurus. Don't be afraid to buy this starter for your Taurus. it installs perfectly, no problems. a direct OEM replacement but sounds slightly different when starting the car. Installed on August 30, 2018. Will be updated if there are any issues.

My problem was solved quickly

There are several branded starters available that look suspiciously similar in terms of packaging, proof sheets and labeling. It installs easily, fits snugly, and solved my non-starting problem at an affordable price. If I last 3-4 years like the last pair I replaced I would consider it a win for the price and ease of installation of this year's Mercury Sable.

Nice starter kit

Just installed on a 2002 Ford Taurus and started straight away. With a native starter, the car did nothing at all, did not click, made no noise. At first I really thought it was the battery. Warranty; 2 years from date of purchase for the original purchaser from an authorized installer OR retailer (Revain). You must return the defective device to Premier Gear. The starter appears to be made in the USA. I hope this starter will last more than 2 years. Will update this review if problems arise.

Faulty Part - Starter

Update: I tried to contact the manufacturer on the phone number provided by Revain and the person who answered the call said it was not the same Premier Gear unit and Revain has them wrong information. So I contacted Revain and they issued a return/refund. Based on the good reviews I ordered this starter but it was not a good experience for me. I have decided to order a DB Electrical SFD0041 starter now which I bought 5 years ago the last time I needed to replace a starter. I hope I live 5…
