We were dying to fill my 5 year old's paddling pool with snow on an August day. Snow was easy to make, but 25 gallons only produced a few inches of snow in the pool. My daughter + one of her friends played it for 15 minutes then lost interest. I was hoping to let the snow dry so we could use it again. Unfortunately, despite my best efforts, this didn't work: (1) I left some snow in the pool - it was completely dry and stuck to the pool; (2) I put some in 1 gallon bags - it was a wet, sticky mess (both closed and open bags); I put some in a bucket - the top stayed white while the bottom turned into a wet, sticky mess. So. A few weeks later I gave up and threw it all away. I only used it for 15 minutes - what a waste!
