Better breath, throttle response and towing, but don't buy it if you're looking for an MPG.

Installed within 30 minutes of receipt on my 2010 GMC Sierra SLT with a 5'-8" crew cab. The floor is very noticeable. I've had three 5.3 Sierras. This is my first one with a six speed gearbox and I hated all the downshifting on the Autobahn from 6th to 5th, sometimes even 4th!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?? !?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? !?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?that CAI will definitely up your low-end torque by a few notches.Absolutely essential if you're hauling anything up to thirty with a big load much smoother.
