Stunning looks and serious workmanship

This thing is a speed cell phone and easy to install. It looks amazing and completely eliminates any delay in hitting the throttle or the vehicle moving from a stop.

Good item but additional parts may be required

Didn't quite fit. I had to adjust and move the heat shield. The rubber protection around the heat shield wasn't long enough, maybe a foot too long. You need to buy a throttle adapter.

Decent product, the filter is a little hard to buy if you want to replace it. Ran a bunch of codes on my 2013 Silverado 5.3. Basically p0175. I have ordered and replaced the mass air flow meter and will tune and tune to make the intake more efficient.

Use an air mass flow deflector. Or you'll get a check engine light for a lean condition.

I mounted the heat shield first. There are no problems closing the hood. I installed a tube with a deflector on the air mass meter. The check engine light does not light up. Good bottom end and high torque. The fuel consumption stayed the same. The truck weighs approximately 7,500 pounds and has a 7.5 stroke. The only reason for 4.5 stars are the cheap China clamps. Don't worry, I work at a Cat dealer. We have good brackets.

The motor home's towing capacity was not very good. I read reviews from several different ones.

I've always been skeptical about cold air intakes. I have a 2010 Silverado 5.3L and just bought a new camper. The motor home's towing capacity was not very good. I read reviews of various air intakes and decided on this one. Immediately, my fuel consumption on the highway increased by 9%. Probably a bit slower around town due to the deep guttural sound when accelerating. Don't think about it anymore if you read this. Just shut up and buy. You will not be disappointed.

Better breath, throttle response and towing, but don't buy it if you're looking for an MPG.

Installed within 30 minutes of receipt on my 2010 GMC Sierra SLT with a 5'-8" crew cab. The floor is very noticeable. I've had three 5.3 Sierras. This is my first one with a six speed gearbox and I hated all the downshifting on the Autobahn from 6th to 5th, sometimes even 4th!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?? !?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? !?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?that CAI will definitely up your low-end torque by a few notches.Absolutely essential if you're hauling anything up to thirty…
