I mainly use this for reading PDFs with a 2 page view or post with a link on the side. Working with Excel is also great. Text is sharp even at 100% scaling. I use a 125% scaling to make it bigger and sharper. Gaming and videos in the 21:9 aspect ratio are excellent on this ultra-wide screen. I was deciding between this and a 32" 4k monitor. A 4k resolution, albeit with sharper text, would result in lower frame rates and would lack the "looped" immersion that Dell gives you. It didn't dead pixels found and fit and finish is good. Height adjustable stand helps maintain posture and comes with all cables for each port. My only complaint is that the monitor makes random noises. It sounds like "popping" "Cracking" or "clicking". They occur every 5 minutes and become more frequent when going from dark to white. I thought the plastic had cracked due to thermal expansion, but the noise correlated with the transition from dark after know which led me to believe the problem was power related, this seems to be a common problem with dell monitors after googling, they recommend that I hint Check the monitor for sparks and plug it directly into the outlet, not my surge protector. Otherwise the monitor works fine and I will update my review if a solution is found.
