I bought this vehicle to explore the sky. I consider myself an amateur astronomer, I love astrophotography but I also have a desire to learn and explore the night sky visually. I felt that this telescope with Starsense technology would help me the most. It would help me not only to study but also to share information as the application running on my phone has a lot of information about each object in its database (it contains the full Messier catalog as well as the Caldwell catalogue). On my first night, I took this to my dark heaven seat and unwrapped it in the back of my car. After putting everything together (about 5-7 minutes effort by following the instructions) I was able to set up and connect my phone. The one star alignment made for a fun night of viewing over twenty objects under the full moon! When you select an object, this device will show you the direction of your mount's movement, up to the point where you hit the target EVERY time. It was a pleasure to watch the night sky and read about objects like the Bode Galaxy, the Messier 3 globular cluster, the Binary Cluster and the Pleiades. I would highly recommend this telescope to any beginner or even advanced astronomer. because it's the easiest way to discover the night sky on a budget!
