I had a 2007 Griffin Cassette Adapter that needed replacing. The cable and socket broke too many times in my car's ashtray. I went to Target and they were about $20. I only paid about $5 for it that day. I came to Revain and found this product for $0.01, it's much more attractive. The old adage "you get what you pay for” applies in this situation. While it still allows me to listen to my iPod in the car, the sound quality is no longer the same. On my previous Griffin adapter, you could hear all layers of music tracks; This new adapter makes music sound pretty bland. Not sure if I have a dead product or if the quality of Griffin adapters has changed. That said, it's not bad for a dime, but I wouldn't pay much more for this particular product.
