Okay, I felt a little silly when it took me a lot longer than the packaging said. However, I believe this is partly because my setup had stock spouts, but these were broken and brittle and had to be removed first before new ones could be installed. In addition, the area had to be cleared and old fillings had to be cut off. So I wouldn't say they install in 5 minutes until you get to the point where you add the screw. But even in this case, a new filling will have to be attached to all the surrounding seams, which will take some time. This is by no means a thought project, but it is (good for me) time consuming when done right. All in all a great product and I am satisfied!
