Ideal for beginners or older skaters

Yes. I was also inspired by all the young tik tokers of the decade to buy one and live out my rollerblade fantasy dancing to what they call bops. I had concerns about the size. I have scaled the shoe down from my usual size which varies by shoe brand. I have broad hobbit paws. I fluctuate between 7.5 and 8.5, sometimes even up to 9, depending on the narrowness of the toe. I have a 7 and I have an inch of space from the toe to the edge of the shoe as I have tried to show in the photos where I place my toe on the tip of my big toe. The wheels out of the box are a little stiff, but before I loosen them I want to see how I do it. I feel like it will help me get back into the rhythm of skating since it's been many MANY years and I could only swing my legs to skate in a straight line lol. They're comfortable, beautiful, and still feel and ride great. If I stick with it and build up my trick repertoire, I might someday get trending skates for Instagram, but right now they're perfect for this 90's kid to be skating again in his 30's in my closet in two weeks, well, her weren't such a big investment if I feel like they've been wasted and I can't even make $30 off them. Take them :)
