Well packaged with bright and colorful fact sheets to encourage young learners to learn more about the gemstone they have just discovered. This can be a messy process, but it can be done alone with older kids if you set up a workstation for them. The large blocks that the gem is in are quite thick and will take some time to dig out, but please note that the gem may be smaller than intended, which is why we chose 4 stars instead of 5. This makes a great gift, especially if your little one has a passion for science and insists on independence.
