    Great class gift!

    This product is perfect for my 9 year old to give his classmates for their birthday. Each gem block is individually wrapped and comes with 12 instruction cards. Each stone also comes with a nice card, but since you don't know which one it was, we couldn't give it away. Better than anything! I was worried about what I would use as a chisel to dig out the gems, but it comes with 12 INDIVIDUAL BITS so no problem here! The next day, several of his classmates told me their rocks were really cool…

    The kids loved it.

    It was a hit at the Geological Stones birthday party. They were dirtier than I expected. I didn't realize when I ordered that they need to be soaked in water first. The water made it a bit dirtier as "mud" became "mud" but all the kids loved it and were happy to find their rocks. Many commented that the stone was a lot smaller than expected probably because they appear larger in photos and the size of the cubes make it appear larger but overall they were a hit and would buy again.

    Great Unique Gift

    Well packaged with bright and colorful fact sheets to encourage young learners to learn more about the gemstone they have just discovered. This can be a messy process, but it can be done alone with older kids if you set up a workstation for them. The large blocks that the gem is in are quite thick and will take some time to dig out, but please note that the gem may be smaller than intended, which is why we chose 4 stars instead of 5.     Funny though: Science kits and toys

    I was sooooo excited to do this, it was a kids activity. The kids loved her. It says soak in water for 5 minutes, I didn't know or read that before, so just FYI. However, it was disappointing that the stones were very small, less than 1 inch, and only had 1 tiny gemstone in each. The really disappointing thing was they weren't even in the middle, most of them were sitting right upstairs, you scratched the surface, you found a rock, so apart from waiting for them to get wet the kids had don't…
