Solid, well made and well thought out quality product. I used this tire holder on my recent trip to Alaska. Alkan and Canada roads had sections that were in very poor condition. Many frosty chasms and potholes. Get out of the truck. The conditions made it very difficult for this tire carrier. I was towing a dual tire on a dolly that probably weighed about 100 pounds. At the same time, the Draw-Tite carrier turned out to be excellent. No kinks, twists or damage. I'm amazed at how this statement works. I used it on the front receiver so I didn't have to crawl under the truck (in the mud) in the event of a fall. I believe this holder will work just as well when used as a rear receiver for any car. Highly recommended, good price. Note. Unlike other tire holders, this holder tilts the tire closer to 90 degrees and closer to the hood of my truck. Other brands protrude more from the bumper. Finally, use an anti-rattle clamp to keep the tire from moving back and forth, up and down.
