Thanks to our non-energy efficient cab, this press saved a life this summer. It was so hot (83 degrees in the kitchen despite our air conditioned window) that I don't even want to use the toaster. This little beauty makes great sandwiches without heating up the room. The surface is larger than the small Geo. Foreman Grill. I also like the fact that it's not skewed (we don't eat meat, so we don't have to worry about draining "fat"). It cleans easily. The floating plate allows the use of sandwiches of different thicknesses and is suitable for both a frying pan and a toaster.
