Once installed the light works great - brighter than expected. This is a well built unit that should last for years to come. Only two points could have been better. The wiring is twisted, not tight, so it's a little harder to connect. Also, the wiring needs to be long enough to run all the way through the mounting bar, but it's not, so you'll have to pull an electrical wire through, connect, and then feed the excess back. This was easiest to do with crimp connectors - with wire nuts they were too big to pull out.2. The mounting post and bracket does not impede the movement of the lamp from side to side without hesitation. This could be better if the mount was different and had more than two points of contact with the mounting surface. However, I would definitely buy it again.
