It took a few tries to get it working, but I finally got it right. It worked great for about 8 months but eventually started losing the ability to feel movement. Now it's literally on the opposite side of the door, turning on for maximum sensitivity, and it only works intermittently. When it worked it was great, a lot of people thought I had a dog. The repeated barking would not have been noticed if someone hadn't stopped and listened. Most people left as soon as they heard the first bark, thinking it was a dog. Given that we live in a technological generation I can't believe it wasn't developed by another company, it's an amazing idea and if it works it's perfect. This device just isn't designed to last more than a few months. Too bad.
