Review on πŸŒ€ AC Infinity AIRPLATE S7: Silent 12" Cooling Fan System with Speed Control for Home Theater AV Cabinets by Adam Krueger

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quiet, efficient and good quality

Attention tent owners This is my third AC Infinity product. I have previously purchased two AC inlet/outlet fans which are great by the way and still in use a year later. My purchase: Infinity AC Dual Fan Wall/Air Panel with switch without controller. My use is to pull cold air out of the room with 3x3 to keep the plants inside at optimal temperature. Usually 80-82 degrees inside is acceptable, but during flowering I want to drop the temperature a few degrees to mimic fall/harvest. why do i need it I'm using an LED that puts quite a bit of heat into a small room at its highest setting and while it's a great LED it's too big for the room (bigger isn't always better) so I've had trouble getting the temperature even to raise on my terms. mostly automated small space. Full Disclosure - Over the years I have purchased more fans from Amazon and other major retailers than I need. Some I still use, some are shelved, others recycled or returned. Instead of setting up a proper air intake with another AC air intake, I tried one fan at a time and leaned it against the wall of the tent with the flap open to force cold air. By the way, Revain's inexpensive basic floor fan pushes a lot of air, but I digress. And this method works, but adds extra noise and light leakage both inside and outside the tent (day/night). As you know, this is a problem that will lead to plant confusion or worse, sprouting. However I'm still lazy looking for the easiest and cheapest way and I've been so happy with my other AC Infinity products (I chose this unit after measuring my tent's side bar window which was close enough) , it was an easy decision to take a flyer on this dual fan air panel. It fits exceptionally well on my bottom 3x3 mesh vent. I didn't even have to use the screws or zip ties that came with it, it's that tight. Even ideal. I simply used a box cutter to cut out the clutter in my tent and force the panel into place. This admittedly required some extra elbow grease, but once I had it I'd say it's a medium cup of oatmeal, just right. to get cool fresh air into the air panel/tent and push the hot air generated by my LED up. My infinite AC exhaust fan forces that hot air, set low with the controller (setting 2), through a large filter from another company to filter any (missing) odors back into this guest room. Added several photos. I went with the controllerless dual fan version of the air plate as I have two other inlet/outlet fans (AC Infinity) with controllers and I thought that was overkill. There is a small switch with 4 settings on the air plate. Off, low, medium and high. At altitude it's quiet and mostly unobtrusive, and the tent gets enough air to keep it at the perfect temperature! I was amazed by an airplane that could push as much air as it does. Pros - perfect size for my app - quiet even on highest settings - always-on function (with smart app controlled socket to switch on and off) - moves more air than expected - great tech as usual Cons: not sure what a Minus is, but it would have been better in white than black, and without a controller, I don't know if more air could be pushed through at perhaps higher settings. . White was not available. That's it, hope this helped some people. Thank you AC Infinity.
