I've seen several reviews complaining about the power rating of these speakers. From over 30 years of audio experience I can tell you that power management is basically useless. If you run them (or any other speaker) with PURE Power, they will perform much better than advertised. I use this pair with a Sherwood RX4105 stereo receiver. That's 105 watts per channel. Not only do they sound fantastic, but they have decent bass and incredible volume. I've been punishing them at extreme volumes for almost a year and they're still flawless. Buy with confidence when powering them with a quality amplifier.
