Review on Rocky Mountain Goods Furniture Casters by Kevin Hawkins

Sturdy enough for a Steinway piano, but the wheels will dent in the oak floor

As the title suggests, these carts are strong enough to hold a size L Steinway piano. The carts didn't bend or warp and that rolled piano. easily on carts. However, the profile of the wheels is convex rather than flat. This means that all of the cart's weight is concentrated in 3 tiny points where the wheels touch the ground. I have an oak floor and the carts made dents in the floor where the wheels rolled. I am very unhappy with the ground damage. Also, the label on the trolley is on top and is very difficult to remove. That means if I leave the carts under the piano, the ugly label is visible. The tag should be on the bottom but I don't think I care as I have to drop these carts so I don't damage the floor.
