I bought this for use in underfloor water and cabin pumps to ensure equipment and pipes don't freeze. It is hooked up to the utility room heater, replacing a cheaper model that was constantly shutting down and restarting. So far, so good! Since the installation which was very easy I haven't had any problems and the pump room kept a good stable temperature. As a precaution, I have a separate battery-powered wireless sensor in my room that sends an alarm if the temperature falls below a set point. It used to bother me several times a week but not anymore since installing this new thermostat. It is well made and has proven to be very reliable so far.
