I have my parents' Christmas bells which they got as a housewarming gift in 1948, their first Christmas in a house they built themselves. Now I live in this house and the bells still hang in the kitchen window every year. Last year I needed a flashing lightbulb but couldn't find one so I replaced it with a non-flashing one. This summer I found four packs of colorful onions, but they were so dark you could barely see them through the red bells. I've finally found her and I hope I have enough spares for a lifetime.
