Pretty good for incandescent bulbs

Reminds me of old flickering lights randomly turning on and off. Some of the bulbs had a bit of an issue flickering to an orange/yellow low light that stayed that way for a while before brightening. Some of them returned to a more normal state after warming up, some didn't. I built them into the garland so it makes little difference and is less noticeable. I hope that they will be available in LED in the near future.

Pros
  • 7 watt, 120 volt, random flash, average life 1500 hours.
Cons
  • Compatibility

Very happy with the bulbs

I have my parents' Christmas bells which they got as a housewarming gift in 1948, their first Christmas in a house they built themselves. Now I live in this house and the bells still hang in the kitchen window every year. Last year I needed a flashing lightbulb but couldn't find one so I replaced it with a non-flashing one. This summer I found four packs of colorful onions, but they were so dark you could barely see them through the red bells. I've finally found her and I hope I have enough…

Eureka! Finally found a replacement flickering bulb!

One of my favorite Christmas decorations is a set of old bells from 45 years ago. To say that flickering replacement bulbs are hard to find is an understatement. It took me almost two years of searching everywhere to finally give up and start searching the internet. I took a leap of faith to see if they would work. The first two lights blinked twice a second - they didn't blink randomly even after warming up - so I figured it was another bug. However, the third bulb blinked just as unevenly and

Cons
  • No gun

It was very nice to find them. I thought they would be easier to find. I wanted to find them to replace lightbulbs in an old new traffic light for my grandson who has Asberger Syndrome, a form of autism. I've searched all local stores including: hobby, electronics etc but to no avail. I then stumbled upon them here at Revain and was delighted to learn that they would be perfect for this traffic light. If you have one of these new traffic lights they will fit and be of acceptable wattage for…

Not commercially available!

These randomly flashing C-7 bulbs you won't find in stores! I've been looking for many years! They are for the Christmas decorations of three large plastic bells that once belonged to my grandmother. They make me nostalgic and the turn signal bulbs have all since blown and been replaced with solid bulbs. How nice to see them blinking again! I didn't really need a box of 25, but at only $0.60 per bulb it was a great deal (compared to other retailers who were selling them for over $1.50 each!)…

Pros
  • Made in China
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
