This stopped the leak around the base of the faucet. I have had this Kohler single handle kitchen faucet (K-10412 CP) for 5 years. About a year ago we noticed that some water was leaking out of the base and it was also difficult to turn the faucet between the double sinks. The water ingress got worse so I ordered this kit. Kohler's maintenance video says the job takes just 15 minutes. It might be, but I couldn't straight up the faucet base, it took me a few strokes and twists to loosen it (another sign of bad o-rings, according to Kohler). Since I had a faucet body, I cleaned all the debris in the body and on the base. I lubricated the o-rings and internals with the food-grade grease that came with the kit. Lubricate these parts liberally. Put everything together and there will be no more leaks! By the way: Kohler has a guarantee on the cartridge.
