This product is well made, durable, the gap problem of other similar products is solved by adding a lip on the edge. There was a small issue with the locking mechanism, which is about 1/4 inch thick, but that was quickly resolved by flipping the mechanism. Definitely a great addition to the safety of my trucks. I used black screws that I removed from the factory kit instead of the ones that came with the kit to make it look ridiculous.
