If you have a Profile Aero hydration system, you must order replacement parts at the same time. The elastic in particular will most likely not last more than a season and will snap when you least need it, which is a very important part. The net is not critical, but should only be changed at regular intervals for health reasons (possibly at the end of the racing season). Extra straws can be useful, if only as a replacement at the end of the season, again for hygiene reasons. For me I cut the original straws because they were too long. But then I changed my aero bars and height and realized the straws were too short. The added features of this kit (I have a dual system so I had to buy two kits) were invaluable.
