Seriously, this shampoo and conditioner (Everyday for both) is so close to perfect it breaks my heart. Most of the ingredients are natural and contain no harsh or dangerous chemicals that can damage your hair. It contains nourishing aloe vera gel that heals the scalp, as well as good lather and a very light fruity scent that is fairly gender neutral. However, there is one ingredient in conditioner that makes me wonder: dimethicone. based on a nourishing element designed to nourish your hair and give it shine. The most common and cheapest of the common silicone additives, it can sometimes coat the hair and reduce porosity (the hair's ability to absorb moisture and oils). I mentioned this because they don't list all of the ingredients, and if you're a die-hard anti-silicone you should be aware of this conditioner. I've only used the shampoo and conditioner once so it's hard to say how it will work. has a long-term effect on my hair. However, my first shampoo and conditioner gave very good results. I love the smell and my hair is shiny and soft (I haven't had the detangling issues mentioned in other reviews). Since this shampoo and conditioner has so many other good qualities I definitely plan on using the rest of the bottle and will probably buy more. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase, although I'm a bit disappointed with the silicones.
