Great for the price
The texture is semi-leather and while some people have mentioned they don't like how thin it is, I find the thickness useful...if you can clearly see your work from behind, work on a depth, which would cause a breakout in real leather. If your main focus is working with lines and strokes, I've found that mixing ink with water (a 50/50 mix) makes it very easy to wash off without petroleum jelly. Just keep in mind that this affects the darkness of what you are working on and is not a good indication of how dark your work will be as a real tattoo. For the low price this is a great buy.
