I don't know why the reptile companies can't make a light that doesn't burn out faster than General Patton walked through tank shells during the Battle of the Bulge. These are decent headlights as long as they last, but you'd better have extras on hand because they have a HORRIBLE lifespan. But they are ALL. Whatever brand I buy, it breaks instantly. There could be light hoods over the snake tank but I've recently upgraded to a deeper, more ventilated hood and the light stays on a little longer, but not by much.
