09/30/2021: I had very high hopes for this rug. It meets all my requirements, pattern, color, machine wash, etc. However, it has to be returned. I machine washed it according to the instructions, everything was meticulous, I had to babysit all the time. It holds too much water for a machine wash and then gets tangled in the machine. It's not torn, but it didn't look new either, so it's not for me. Washing also did not remove the wrinkles, resentment from injuries. I am devastated. I need a lightweight doormat and all mine have always been like this. It's beautiful from the start, but unlikely to last long. When I saw him get out of the washing machine, I understood the whole story. For health reasons I can't take it outside to wash and wait for it to dry or wait for it to be inside. It's too heavy and I need a mat while I wait. A real shame. It's so beautiful but requires such care.
