Review on Sceptre C248B 144RN: Edge Less FreeSync DisplayPort, Curved Screen, 165Hz, Built-In Speakers, Frameless Design, Blue Light Filter – LED Monitor by Rashad Francis

Perfect right out of the box

I bought 2 of these and was very concerned after reading some of the reviews. I watched tons of YouTube videos and read a lot (as I always do) before buying. I was replying to a review on this, notice where someone mentioned Spectre's dead pixel policy. After reading this review I basically closed this site and looked elsewhere. I've found that almost every monitor company has the same dead pixel policy (which I think is utter rubbish). I have 3 other Specter monitors. A 19" monitor I bought years ago which still works well and 2 x 24" GTG monitors one of which had 3 dead pixels and both died after a few years of use. at least one of the two had to have at least one dead pixel. No, none of them have dead pixels. The colors and everything else was great right away. I am very happy with them so far. Let's hope they last, unlike the other two 24 inch monitors I got from Scepter years ago. Update: 1 out of 2 monitors sometimes has an issue where it goes through a color bar and freezes completely. monitor and reconnect. This has happened a total of 4 times since I bought it on January 24th 2020 and today April 3rd 2020. I had no problems with the other monitor.
