I love this cage! I only have one top level. I haven't used both. This would make cleaning more difficult and leave less space on the ground floor. The exercise wheel is great for a male Syrian hamster. It is 8 inches tall, making it larger than most hamster wheels. However, I've never seen him walk on it, and that worries me. The part of the bike he will ride on is clear plastic and I wonder why I've never seen him ride it. I hope he walks on it. He had a purple flying saucer in another cage and liked it, but there is no room for it in this cage. Otherwise I love this cage! The impeller is on the second level and it is very easy for him to climb on it. I once saw him climb it to get a piece of food. I finally saw him walking on wheels! Hooray!
