These are amazing pedals that fit perfectly in running shoes. Your feet will not move on it unless you choose to move them on purpose. I bought 3 pairs of these mounts to outfit 3 bikes. The bearings are too tight when you receive them. There is a removable threaded cap that allows you to release the tension. When I got mine and twisted it in my hand I found it had a lumpy, jagged feel. These bearings are crying out for help. Basically, you need to loosen the lock nut and then loosen and slightly tighten the inner nut. Then tighten the lock nut and see how it feels. You don't need endgame or suspense. After a few tries you'll get the hang of it. After that, you won't be afraid to repack your bearings every few years. It was a lot of clear lube so I left it alone. BTW I removed the old 2000 mile kit and the lube was still clean but I changed it anyway. I've used a dial indicator to set the endplay to 0.0005" just for fun. [edit] I use this red grease for almost everything. I've noticed that others also notice the tightness of the bearings. High temp grease cartridge, 14 -Ounce bearings that are attracted by mindless robots or workers. You can do it much better yourself. It will take a few tries to get it right, but you will have pedals that spin freely, won't slow you down and last forever keep.
