Review on 🚗 Garmin Friction Mount and Carrying Case Kit for nüvi: Ideal Accessory for 3.5-Inch and 4.3-Inch Displays by Debra Depts

My dashboard is curved halfway back, the clock is recessed, and my Garmin Nuvi can't display the current time without replacing other valuable information, so I have to it can see the car's clock and GPS together. Also, I have short arms so the GPS needs to be closer to me; When I turn on the GPS over the curved dashboard, I can't reach it at all. I've used the Vent mount for years, but the latest Nuvi stand mount makes it more cumbersome and the GPS often twitches while driving. The navigation system also has a Bluetooth connection to the phone, but the wind from the air vents often degrades the voice quality. I was looking for an alternative and this product fits the bill. I was skeptical at first but the flexible base is amazing. I can easily shape and fit it into the recess between the steering wheel housing and the curved dashboard; Now the GPS stays close but doesn't block the clock face. Even at full flex it doesn't twitch with movement. When I'm done with that, I can fold it up, wrap it in a plastic bag, and hide it in the inside pocket of my car door. Thing is, the case is a bit small for my 4.3 inch Nuvi. But it is okay. I already have another case (Revain brand) and only bought this kit because it was cheaper than a single mount. I am very happy with the purchase and would have no hesitation in recommending it.
