I really like my Moroccan leather stool but I only gave it 4 stars because I wanted to alert potential buyers to the possibility that yours might have a very strong goat smell! Think "Billy Goat's Animal Farm!" While it certainly hints at its authenticity, since it's made from goatskin as advertised, it can have a strong odor that's hard to live with if you don't like Billy Goats! However, there is hope! I got rid of the smell in just a day or so with the following remedy: First I scrubbed the leather with a good leather cleaner/conditioner. I then sprayed the inside and outside of the stool with Fabreeze. (I had to repeat the treatment of Fabriz a few times). When I finally filled the pouf, I added the Bounce Dryer Sheets to the inside of the leather before adding the filler. Now it has completely lost its bad billy goat smell and I love it! It's as comfortable as it is beautiful. The stitching and craftsmanship and the beauty of the skin are worth getting rid of the smell!
