People either love or hate this product. I love it. Works amazing. Not cleaning up the room? Boom Internet is off. Battle? Boom Internet is off. The problem that most people face and cannot solve is setup. Not so much in the circular part, but in determining what's what and which device belongs to a person so you can relate. Take the time to set it up properly and it's a gem. A few notes: when the circle discovers devices, they will all be grouped together to move them to the people and child profiles you created. The difficulty is that some of them are listed with manufacturer name and MAC address. In other words, you will see something like a Ziojuang device with MAC address 0F:01:B1:C2:AF:DD. How are you supposed to know what it is and where it's going? This is where you spend time setting up. If you go to your child's device, or any of the devices in general, and go into the wireless or network setup menu, the MAC address should be listed somewhere in that menu. Match these numbers to the device in the circle. Rename the oddly named device in the circle to Brad's iPad or whatever. If you can't find the menu, you can always do this function with free safe pc software. The iPad, Droid, and iPhone also have apps for that. I personally use an app called Fing Scanner. It scans your network for all devices, lists all IP and Mac addresses, and provides much more detailed information about the device, making it easier to identify and rename within a circle. Once you get everything right, it will be a golden product. Another helpful tip is to move any devices that don't need to be blocked or filtered to an unmanaged group. You do not want this product to touch assistive devices. Take your camera systems and nest cameras, other routers, network access points, smart fridges and whatever and move them to unmanaged ones.
