I read some reviews, including one who shot his thumb. No idea how he did that, can only assume he did something wrong. I have never used a nailer in my life and this thing was super-easy! I used the correct gauge 'nail' and simply went to work. I used the nailer to butt-joint two pieces together to create an edge on a shelf. It did misfire twice out of about 100, but that could have been me not pressing it down properly. And by misfire, I mean the nailer engaged but a nail didn't come out. I used exactly what the instructions stated, which I believe was 90 psi. or was it 75? Either way, follow the instructions and adjust from there. Mine sank perfectly at the recommended psi. SO much easier than nailing by hand, probably saved 45 minutes!
