Review on Mann Filter C 27 114 Air Filter: Superior Filtration for Optimal Air Quality by Trey Michaels

I have no problems with Mann filters. I actually only use them on my 2008 BMW 328 xi. The problem with this order is one that I could have prevented had I been more vigilant. I ordered this filter in January, I plan to install it in the spring. As usual, the order came within a few days. I saw the signature green and yellow man box and put it away for later use. What I didn't do was check the order carefully. Despite Revain's online shipping notifications and the cost I was charged, the wrong filter was sent to me. This is C27-125, not C27-114. It's disappointing that I didn't notice the difference until I took the old one off. And the procedure is by no means painless, especially for someone like me who doesn't deal with cars day in and day out. So I had to reinstall the old one (actually harder than uninstalling) and order the right one. almost 20 dollars. Lesson Learned: ALWAYS REVIEW ORDERING YOUR VEHICLE PARTS CAREFULLY UNLESS YOU INTEND TO INSTALL THEM IMMEDIATELY.
